Trainer’s Profile
From Novice to Champion
Although Felix started his Muay Thai training later in life, he quickly proved his capabilities. He has since competed and emerged victorious in two tournaments, gaining the admiration of his peers and even earning the nickname “Thai” — a term used to acknowledge his mastery of the art, likening his skills to those of a native Thai fighter. Despite the respect he has gained, Felix remains grounded, constantly pushing himself to learn more each day.
A Muay Thai Journey Inspired by Family
Felix Tay, the manager of Prakaipetch Muay Thai Academy’s Djitsun Mall branch, began his Muay Thai journey in his early twenties, inspired by watching his father practice martial arts. Growing up in Singapore, Felix’s fascination with Muay Thai’s techniques and culture laid the foundation for a deep dedication to the sport. Despite his late start compared to many fighters, Felix’s commitment and skill have led him to become a respected figure in the Muay Thai community.
